In July 2024, I launched a monthly feature story to report on female intellectual property executives, who are under-represented in the global patent profession. Despite their relatively small numbers, women make an impact in corporations and government. Our interview and profile series picks their brains for insight and analysis surrounding IP strategy, team leadership, negotiations and patent market developments. Sharing their experience proves useful for both male and female readers, but we also intended to inform and inspire more junior women patent professionals in their careers.

This round-up article of the 2025 Women in IP stories shows the quality of interview subjects that I and my colleagues have attracted for the series and the deep insights they have been offering to IAM readers.
